You're in a private pixel room.

Share the link and anyone who opens it paints on this same canvas with you, live. To feel it now, open the link in a second tab and watch the pixels appear in both.

How it works

Every canvas is a private room with its own link. When you open the page you land in a fresh 64×64 grid, and the room code rides in the URL. Send that link to anyone and the moment they open it they are on the same canvas as you, with a live cursor you can watch hop from cell to cell as they paint. Each pixel you place streams to everyone in the room the instant you place it.

How is it live without a server I have to run?

The pixels travel through a realtime message channel, not a database. When you paint, the cell index and color are broadcast as a tiny message, and every other browser in the room paints that same cell. Presence (who is here, and which cell each person's cursor is on) rides the same channel. When a new person joins, one of the people already in the room hands them the entire grid in a single compact message, so a late arrival immediately sees all the art that already exists. Because nothing is written to disk by default, the canvas lives for as long as people are in the room, which is exactly what you want for a quick collaborative doodle.

Things to try

Make a tiny game sprite with a friend, run a pixel-art jam in class, build a team logo one pixel at a time, or play a guessing game where one person draws and the rest watch it appear. Open the link on your phone and your laptop at once to paint from both. When you like the result, hit Save PNG for a crisp upscaled image, or hit Replay to watch a timelapse of every pixel going down in order.

Do I need to sign up?

No. There is no account and no install. Open the page, copy the link, and share it. Anyone who opens the link joins your canvas instantly and starts painting.

Is anything saved or uploaded?

By default the canvas is relayed live between the browsers in the room and is not written to a database, so when everyone leaves, the room resets. Use Save PNG if you want to keep the art. (The page also supports an optional permanent-canvas mode if a small database is connected.)

How big is the canvas?

It is a 64×64 grid, which is a comfortable size for sprites, logos, and collaborative doodles. Zoom in for pixel-perfect detail and the canvas scrolls.

How many people can paint at once?

It is built for small groups, a handful of people painting together comfortably in real time, like a team, a class, or friends, rather than thousands at once.

Can I undo someone else's pixels?

Undo reverts your own most recent pixels. Anyone can use Clear to wipe the whole canvas for everyone, so use it with care.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes, you can paint with your finger. It works best with a mouse or stylus, but touch is fully supported.
